1960 Kentucky Derby Venetian Way

This photograph shows Venetian Way with Hall of Fame rider Bill Hartack aboard, winning the 1960 Kentucky Derby at historic Churchill Downs. The "Run For The Roses" is considered America's premier horse race, always drawing crowds in excess of 100,000. This horse race has earned the nickname of being the "Fastest Two Minutes In Sports".
