1973 Kentucky Derby – Secretariat #101

This photograph shows Triple Crown champion Secretariat, with Hall of Fame rider Ron Turcotte aboard, crushing the field in track record time to win the 1957 Kentucky Derby at historic Churchill Downs. The "Run For The Roses" is considered America's premier horse race, always drawing crowds in excess of 100,000. This horse race has earned the nickname of being the "Fastest Two Minutes In Sports".
