1987 Kentucky Derby Alysheba #845

This photograph shows Alysheba in the first turn, with Hall of Fame rider Chris McCarron aboard, prior to clipping heels with Bet Twice and digging in to defeat that rival in the 1987 Kentucky Derby at historic Churchill Downs. The "Run For The Roses" is considered America's premier horse race, always drawing crowds in excess of 100,000. This horse race has earned the nickname of being the "Fastest Two Minutes In Sports".
