2007 Kentucky Derby Street Sense Inside Rail Photo

This spectacular photograph shows the Street Sense, with Calvin Borel aboard, pulling away from Hard Spun in the stretch to win the 2007 Kentucky Derby in convincing fashion at historic Churchill Downs. Street Sense became the first Two Year Old Champion wo win this horse race since Spectacular Bid in 1979. He also became the first Breeders’ Cup Juvenile winner to then win the Kentucky Derby. The “Run For The Roses” is considered America’s premier horse race, always drawing crowds in excess of 100,000. This horse race has earned the nickname of being the “Fastest Two Minutes In Sports”.
