Considered by many the fastest race horse ever. Dr. Fager is shown with trainer John Nerud outside his barn. In 1968, Dr. Fager achieved something that no other race horse ever did. He won 4 Eclipse Championship awards, a horse racing first. He was named Top Sprinter, Top Older Horse, Top Turf Horse and Horse of the Year. His achievements included numerous track records while carrying extraordinary weights, as much as 139 pounds!! An impost that no modern race is now ever asked to carry. This was one exceptional race horse performer.
