The legendary Kelso is shown outside his barn at Belmont Park. Kelso won Horse of the year an unequaled 5 times, 1960-1964. His other horse racing achievements included winning almost $2 million in purse money in the early 1960's, a time when horse racing purses were nothing compared to the purses of today.
