1957 Kentucky Derby Iron Leige

This photograph shows Iron Leige with Hall of Fame rider Bill Hartack aboard, holding off Gallant Man and Round Table to win the 1957 Kentucky Derby at historic Churchill Downs. The "Run For The Roses" is considered America's premier horse race, always drawing crowds in excess of 100,000. This horse race has earned the nickname of being the "Fastest Two Minutes In Sports".
