1965 Kentucky Derby Lucky Debonair

This photograph shows Lucky Debonair with Hall of Fame rider Bill Shoemaker aboard, winning the 1965 Kentucky Derby at historic Churchill Downs. The "Run For The Roses" is considered America's premier horse race, always drawing crowds in excess of 100,000. This horse race has earned the nickname of being the "Fastest Two Minutes In Sports".
